Alieu Darbo, born on the March 8, 1992 to Gambian Parents, he have one elder sister and one younger sister. he grew up in Gothenburg, Sweden and attended elementary, primary and secondary school of Swedish system. He then join a club in Sweden where he play not long then when for trials in Le mans.  And later sign a contract with them. It was when he was playing for Le Mans Second Team G.F.A spot him and Invite him to come and play for The Gambia.

Darbo Took the Chance and Was among the The Gambia U17 Worldcup team that when to Nigeria in 2009, now he is in U20 National Team, Alieu also came to The Gambia, the land of his Parents for holidays not once.
